Sour candied citrus

Points to Kringle for a unique Reserve sour candied citrus fragrance. I agree with first reviewer Dan that this scent reminds me of sour citrus candy belts with sugar crystals - spot on. This is fruity, sweet, & sour. Candied watermelon & sugrared citrus are predominant with a musky undertone. The 100% soy wax consistently burns evenly & cleanly. The throw is a medium high in an open concept home. The label is very well designed & matches the scent perfectly. For an interesting contrast, Reserve Orange is a pure, fresh orange scent that may be enjoyed by those who like a simple juicy orange fragrance. Kringle does citrus well; I favor their herbal citruses-Sicilian Orange, Rosemary Lemon, & Iced Citrus, which continue to be long term favorites. It’s pleasant to have experienced Kringle’s pure citrus Reserve, Orange, to compare & contrast with Psychedelic Citrus, humorously well named & may well be a sour citrus/sweet candy lovers dream fragrance.

Disappointing

This candle was unfortunately a dud for me. I bought 2 and both are very light on cold. The fragrance was also a little disappointing- instead of a bright, citrus explosion of how I envisioned the fragrance from the name and description, it just seemed really watered down from what I could smell. I have burned one of the candles 3 times so far and I don’t get much from it, you really can’t even tell a candle is lit, the fragrance is so light. I usually have pretty good luck with the reserve candles so I don’t know what happened with this one. On a positive note, the orange reserve candle is a wonderful, juicy, pure orange scent that has been performing well so far- I would check out that one if you want a good citrus scent.

Not quite sure

I’m on the fence with this candle-all I’m smelling is strong grapefruit and lime notes. I do get the effervescence, but as a whole it comes off rather sharp to me. I will continue to burn it to see if it changes. I normally do like grapefruit and lime notes so I am a little confused by this scent.

A Fun Candle

If you enjoy candles that can fill more than one room with fragrance, AND combine sweet and sour fruitiness beautifully, this one is for you! It reminds me of the rainbow candy belts that are coated with grainy sugar. Perfect for late spring and summer!!
