This candle has a really strong cold throw and a very distinct scent. It does really bring back memories of growing up in New England, especially the smell of late summer when the leaves are starting to brown but there is still enough heat and humidity that you are surrounded by an earthy mossy scent. There's an underlying sweetness too. It reminded me of sneaking out late at night to the bay in high school summers to watch the perseids. I would recommend this for yankees far from home looking for a nostalgic outdoor smell.
