It definitely as a smell reminiscent of cologne, as that was my initial take upon smelling this one when it arrived. I have to admit... it's not my favorite out of all the candles I've ordered from Kringle for autumn. However, after visiting New England earlier this year, I can definitely see how this smell can remind people of a New England fall day. It does kind of remind me of a cooler, cozy, fall day in a colonial sipping tea as your partner plays piano. It has a charm to it. Overall, it's not my favorite (it's just not my immediately go-to smell when I think of "fall scents") but it grows on me.
