Not what I expected

I was disappointed with this one. I expected a smokey hearth type scent. Instead this smelled like the incense base to some of the halloween candles. Think Witches Cauldron VERY diluted down with nothing else added. The scent is one noted basically. While I love the Kringle halloween scents, I just didn't expect this to smell like the base note alone. The second problem is it is very weak. On cold about a 4 and didn't get any stronger than a 5 even with a hurricane.

Missed the mark

I was so looking forward to this candle. Based on the name, I was expecting something smoky, sultry & mysterious. But this candle was a huge disappointment. As one reviewer said, "it doesn't smell like smoke at all." And that's 100% correct. But there's more: it downright STINKS!! Nothing about the scent of this candle is appealing, at all. I burned it longer than I wanted to, expecting it to somehow get better. Nope. Save your money!! These reserve candles are too expensive to be this bad.

Mysterious

Smoke and Mirrors is unique among smokey candles. It's not woodsy at all, but more of a carnival magician's act type of smokey. I bought this candle based on a recommendation, but it didn't initially land well with me. Not what I expected, not what I wanted... but it grew on me. I'd recommend this candle for nights when pleasant is not what you're looking for, but rather something more dramatic and moody. Throw is good, 7/10.

A bit disappointing

Overall it had somewhat of a smoky aroma, but definitely had a very weak throw. I had to be standing right next to it to capture any scent
